Anaysling Campaigns
Star Wars advert campagins
One of the first advert to promote Star Wars was Burger King back in 1977 who released star wars glasses to the public to advertise the new movie. This would gain Star Wars more recognition from the public but also gain Burger King alot of money, as their customers would want to buy these glasses that are being sold. Also, the clever way Burger King advertised this advert, was how they started the advert. They opened the advert with the star wars intro which should get the audiences attention. This is because the first star wars film was released in January 1977 and the advert was released in September 1977 making the intro recognisable to everybody who went to the cinema to watch the film. The target audience for this campaign are a male audience from the age of 10-40, as at the time Si-Fi films where stereotypically seen as a male film genre. However, the advert itself is also targeting the ABC1 male audience, as they will want people with a substantial amount of income to keep buying their products on a regular basis.
For this campaign the message that is being consistently shown to both secondary and primary audience is to tell people (primary audience) to go and watch the current trending film at the time Star Wars. However the secondary audiences message would be "to come eat at Burger King as you can also get collectables with your food". By doing this more people from both Star Wars fanbase and the people who regularly eat at Burger King would go even more often, as they have a chance to collect these limited edition cups.
The advertising campaign posted here on Twitter for White Castle, was purposely posted for May The 4th, as it is the perfect time to gather a new audience within the Star Wars community. This is because both male and female audience from ages of 13-45 would be on social media to celebrate May The 4th. The reason why White Castle would've posted this on Twitter, is because it is a great social media page that openly shares "for you posts" or "based on your following", this means that the algorithm within Twitter continues to share posts that is based in your interest. However, White Castle will be wanting to gain the attention of a ABC1 audience as they will be the ones to buy their products after seeing this post.
The message that has been brought to us is to gain other peoples attention to White Castle by posting a tweet joking about their latest product, while referencing it being in the Star Wars world. This would gain the attention of the Star Wars community, as they would click on to the page and see all of the food they have to offer, which could create a temptation of seeing if their is a local White Castle near them.
Whataburger: Rival burger slinger Whataburger built its own walker out of condiments.
The target audience for this campaign is more of an older male and female audience from ages of 30-50, as a younger audience might not find it as interesting seeing a still image. However, both ABC1 and C2DE male and female audiences would see this post, as most twitter accounts that are a fan of Star Wars would be already getting May The 4th posts and would also be following their favorite fast food restaurants, so the chances of them seeing this post if they aren't already following Whataburger, would become increasingly higher. The primary target audience for this post would be an ABC1 audience, as the main purpose of this post is to bring in more people to come and eat at Whataburger. We can clearly see this is the message of the campaign as not only is this one of the many companies posting on May The 4th to bring in a larger audience and make more profit, but making models out of ketchup packets into iconic Star Wars designs just shows what kind of audience they are wanting to bring.
Lego:
The target audience for this campaign for Lego are typically a male audience from the ages of 5-25. This is because Lego is normally seen as a male collectable hobby, and because this is also a star wars product, the stereotype is going to be a lot more strong. However, the main purpose of this campaign is to attract a ABC1 adult "typically a family" as the campaign is trying a sell their latest model of the X-Wing that they can buy in stores. The reason why Lego have put this model in the middle of New York, is because of how big the population is in New York, along with the amount of people that are apart of a business who can buy the product. We can also see that with the Cola advert behind the X-Wing, that it is close to Christmas. Lego purposely put this here, to create a message to those walking past the model, that this would be the perfect gift to get their child for Christmas.

Sony Playstation 5 re-launch
The media campaign for the Ps5 re-launch was targeted to a male audience from ages 12-45 from an ABC1 background (This is due to gamers stereotypically being males from just entering teenage years t0 fathers who then game with their children). This is because the whole purpose of this campaign is to send a message to their audience that the Playstation 5 is now back in stock due to how quickly it sold out. The reason why PlayStation would have done this, is because they would've wanted to make even more profit from their 2nd campaign than their first one due to how many complains they got for the lack of stock being released in stores. PlayStation would also have purposely chosen large populated locations such as London, due to the mass of businesses and upper-class people that live in London, meaning the chances of their campaign succeeding will be more than likely to happen.
MMB'S created a print advertising campaign to promote their new smart toaster. The advert was mainly created for adults as its for housing appliances. However, the toaster is mainly for ABC1 adults, as it isn't exactly cheap to buy and would want their product to be sold as much as possible from this campaign. The reason to why the company chose to do the advert as print is because most adults from the ages of 39-80 would still stereotypically use traditional advertising rather than online advertising, as they might still not know how to work a black box device or have access to Web 3.0. The message of this advert is simple, as the quote "Finally, toast exactly how you like it" would interest their audience as they can now pick how they like their toast as some people are extremely picky when having toast. This can also supported by the image example on the advertisement showing the different options there is.
